Recycled Art: A 3 part workshop with Lizzie Diamond (7/8-7/22, 6-8pm) $75

A workshop focused on two goals, making art out of non traditional materials in the style of Robert Rauschenberg, & making art out of recycling found objects that others might consider trash & making something new. Rather than adding to consumer culture by purchasing art materials, we will aim to make something new from objects that would otherwise end up in garbage bags. And rather than being bound by the constraints of what traditional art is supposed to by, we will have fun thinking outside the box. I will provide materials, & there will also be assignments based on collecting materials without purchasing them.
